Let it snow, my patooty

This was the view a few hours ago looking up my street. We had gotten about 9 inches by this time. We have over a foot now and it's still coming down. We've done the front sidewalk and walks about 5 times now. I like snow but this is more than we need. Both our house and our
rental have huge driveways(by Jersey suburb standards) and we are wet and feeling our age
right now and we'll be doing it all over again either late tonight or tomorrow morning. Penned
this little tune today. Sung to the melody of "Home on the Range"
*******************************************************************************
"Oh give me a home
Where the snowmen don't roam
Where the flowers and the beach grasses grow.
Where seldom is heard
Weather's four letter word
Yessirree, I am talkin' 'bout SNOW!
Home, home in the north
Where the snow and the sleet doth burst forth
Where snow blowers roar
And our backs are all sore
They closed school, now the kids whine they're bored!!! "
******************************************************
I couldn't think of another "orth" word.
Stay warm y'all.
I bet I don't lose a single ounce doing all this work! :o(

Hi - saw your comment on MM for Dummies re chemicals. I only sent an email to Myeloma UK earlier this week re the same thing. When I get a response I'll let you have a copy. Great news on your husband's continuing CR.

Hee hee! I echo those sentiments - we have had enough of snow this year thank you very much!

Lovely verse - I sang along twice to it! quite cheered me up.
Lovely photo but so tired of the amount of snow we have had in the village this year. The sun is shining today it looks wonderful across the pasture lands but still it keeps coming and going and it's very cold still. Roll on Spring I say. All best wishes to you.

Yikes!! Could you send some of that water-based stuff to Colombia where they are having a drought? I used to love snow when I was a skier, but now find it too challenging and am grateful not to be living in it. My sympathies to all you who are over-snowed in all parts of the world and by the way, that was a very creative ditty you penned!
